Temporarily block your card via your banking app first, then call your bank's fraud hotline below for assistance.
- Open your banking app and freeze or temporarily block your card.
- Call your bank's fraud hotline (see list below) — most are 24/7.
- File a report with the police (see "Report the fraud" below).
- Keep screenshots, message threads, and transaction references — your bank and police will need them.
